Here is what we have planned for your skills showcase.

We have prizes in each category for 1st, 2nd, 3rd ……. so start practicing the skills.

FASTEST SKATER All players will participate. Stopwatch timed

FASTEST GOALIE All Goalie(s) will participate. Stopwatch timed

ONE ON ONE SHOWDOWN All players will participate.

Player will get the opportunity to shoot on each goalie

Winners are determined by: Skater with Most Goals – Goalies with Most Saves

OBSTACLE COURSE SKATERS All players will participate

If you hit a pylon we add 5 seconds to your time if you hit 2 pylons you are disqualified

OBSTACLE COURSE GOALIES All goalies will participate

If you hit a pylon we add 5 seconds to your time if you hit 2 pylons you are disqualified

TEAM “PICKUP STICKS” RELAY RACE *final details will be determined based on attendance and final team #s. All teams participate at the same time to determine winners.

THE ULTIMATE “FANS IN THE STANDS” Competition

 

This is where the real action takes place! It’s time to make cardboard signs, dress as the ultimate fan, bring your noise makers, face painting, Hair creations, Best Team dance moves….SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT!!

The judges will be selecting the best FANS IN THE STANDS in the following categories

  • Team Spirit Awards
    • Loudest Cheering Group
    • Best Awesome Sign Designs
    • Best Dressed Fans (face paint, Hair Creations, Ultimate team colours, etc.)

We will be awarding the Team that wins the above categories with prizes and special Team Based items for their participation as team spirit awards.
