The Scarborough Sharks Girls Hockey Association has provided girls of all ages with a place to experience the game of hockey since 1978. We have a house league program, a competitive rep program and we host an annual tournament in January. There are approximately 500 girls registered with us playing house league or rep hockey (or both).

We have 21 house league teams divided into five divisions this year. The Novice, Atom, Peewee and Bantam divisions play every Tuesday night at McGregor Arena. The Open division plays on Sundays at Don Montgomery and Mondays at Scarborough Village. If there is an interest, there may also be select teams formed to play in tournaments. Tryouts for select teams will be posted at the arenas. We also run a Saturday hockey skills program for girls 4 - 7 years of age.

In our competitive rep program, we have 15 teams in seven different age divisions, ranging from Novice to Senior. The rep teams play in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) and will also play in a number of tournaments, including the Provincials, throughout the season. You can check out the progress of these teams on the website http://www.llfhl.ca/. Tryouts for our rep teams are held in April/May each year. Our Senior women's BB team plays in the Golden Blades hockey league, providing players with the opportunity to play for a non-traveling team.
